Trust the feeling that brought you here. It sounds like deep inside you have a fully formed (or nearly so) spiritual personality, and you are looking for a voice for it. Your seeking seems (to me) to be a rather complex path. This is a diverse place, with many paths and with many seekers of various degrees of progress. If you encounter a reply that may create negative feelings, simply don't react (lively debate between two points of view who love each other is always a good thing), but move on to the positive.
