Haha!
That's awesome! I took castor oil to initiate labor with both of my children. It took 9 hours (for me) to take effect. 1-2 Tbsp and no more... or you'll be delivering more than a baby! lol

Having Your Baby

Congratulations on your upcoming arrival. My daughter-in-law is due to deliver a baby girl any day now.
I also took castor oil to try to initiate labor. It tasted awful and didn't do anything for me except send me to the bathroom. If you do try it, put it in some halfway frozen orange juice to disguise the taste.
As my son told me, "The baby will come when she is ready to come."
Your baby will come at the perfect time and will be a major blessing in your life.

OJ is a great way to cut the taste!
But all in all... it is true that baby won't come until it's good and ready! Keep us posted. :o)

I know she will come when she is ready, but I'd really prefer that her daddy will be able to be there. He travels a lot, so if she doesn't come Monday, I'll be praying for her to stay in until June 2. That's a long time to be crossing my legs!
