Of course I am the judge of my worthiness, and my goal is to discover infinite worth in myself

I am proud of some of the things I have accomplished in this life time. Having said that, I find being proud of those things does not mean too much because, for the most part, I don't share much of that information with others.

Can I say "Yes and No"? I was reading about the Gnostic version of this, and while I'm fascinated at their idea of a "demiurge" (an imperfect version of god that essentially made our world with all of it's flaws out of ignorance), I take it as symbolic. I think we do face real struggles in life and many people are ready, willing, and able to antagonize others. But on a deep level, it always comes down to ignorance. Our "adversaries" think they are fighting for what is right, even if they have taken on a cause that is selfish and destructive. Given the opportunity, over enough time, they could find their way out of that ignorance and become kind, spiritual people.

I like you already William.d ---you said demiurge than gave the definition...
that's what a teacher does - that cares
about people understanding things said. Thank you.

Prepare yourself for the coming astral journey of death by daily riding in the balloon of God-perception.
Through delusion you are perceiving yourself as a bundle of flesh and bones, which at best is a nest of troubles.
Meditate unceasingly, that you may quickly behold yourself as the Infinite Essence, free from every form of misery. ~Paramahansa's Guru's Guru

I agree that almost everyone believes that what they are doing is right. It is a difficult belief to snap out of. And if one was to challenge most peoples belief in themselves all hell breaks loose. Usually.

Is there such a thing as an adversary?

Of course, I had and have problems understanding this realm as non-dual.

Something as an act of reinforcing the chasm is not appropriate but who's to say... sometimes there is none. .....
