How about....???
This: If you do not love 'I' then Freud will get you. If you do not love God then the Devil will get you.
The rest follows on from loving these two principles. Both God & 'I'.
This is a notion I have. It works for me.

How would Freud ever 'get you'?
Lots of people don't even know God, so how could they love God..
(they often love the idea of what they have read about).
The 'devil', as you say, doesn't ''get them'' - the lower ego self effects
even the devout lover of God. As I see it.
So I do not have the same 'notion'.
But that is not to say stop posting your 'notions'. :)

good if it works for you honza
for me their their are meany ways of being between love, acceptance and fear, control
i will always respect and accept you but i may choose to or not to walk with you
that's where i am now but know it will change |

Freud to me represents the Ego/'I'. If you do not respectt and love your own Ego/'I' it will whack you on the head.
Freud discovered that people with repressed egos suffered as a consequence.
The Ego/'I' is not there to be eliminated or destroyed but to be lived and developed into a loving being. IMO.

I'm still not quite sure why MissH and Redchic have problems with my post. Everyone has notions of both God and their own 'I', so why not love BOTH?
