Albums which are a 'Work Of Art'

Can you suggest any albums which reach the status of 'Work Of Art' - something akin the Van Gogh's Sunflowers or The Mona Lisa?

I'll give it a go....

Dark Side Of The Moon - Pink Floyd
Wish You Were Here - Pink Floyd
Led Zep IV
Mezzanine - Massive Attack
Screamadelica - Primal Scream
You - Gong
Give & Take - Here & Now
Warrior On The Edge Of Time - Hawkwind
Selling England By The Pound - Genesis
Leftism - Leftfield
Blood On The Tracks - Bob Dylan

That will do for now....

They'd be considered 90's emo. Not at all like what is called emo today and not really 80's emo either. They were kind of intertwined into the 90's hardcore scene so a lot of hardcore straight-edge kids were introduced to this soft but emotional music.

I don't know how likeable it really is but I really liked-and still do-this album. It may just be that it was an album I listened to a lot during important years of my life and it actually isn't that good. That's a possibility.

When my son was born I played this album in his room every night when we put him to bed. It did the trick when nothing else would put him to sleep.
