Freedom - what does it entail?

In stillness one goes beyond the mind- no thought, just awareness.

What is this 'one' that goes beyond? in stillness you go nowhere, you realize you're always there..

There is no You in stillness. There is no self in stillness.

I think you'll disagree with that notion someday, at least i hope you will.. it may not seem like it right now, but.. you are setting limitations on yourself..

We could use the word, awareness, or consciousness- that which is identified with mind- withdraws its attention from the mind, from thought, and the mind is still.

"Going beyond the mind" is an expression- not of distance but of actuality.

It is not a notion. What you are saying is a notion. An idea. Not Reality.

As to limitations on myself- this is a laughable thought!

We are Consciousness incarnate, physical, tangible, real.. we are 'separate' from the 'Whole' by virtue of this physical state of Energy.. between the tangible physical state, and the intangible spiritual state, Mind is the interface.. 'You', are Consciousness, both individuated and unified, separate and undifferentiated.. and you will not understand this, until you 'do'..

You- the identified with mind self, the false self, the small self, the personal self- this you- is fiction. This you- IS the mind.

The mind cannot go beyond itself- "you" can't go beyond the mind.
The Consciousness that you really are is what goes beyond the mind. Which means it goes beyond "you"- the mind, the fake little self that we think we are, but we are not.

Consciousness freed of mind identification- becomes conscious of Itself.
