I finally had my first Astral Projection experience!!! WOO!

It was amazing. I didn't really get to much but I'm very proud of myself! I heard from someone else that it is best to try im the morning hours and I got out of college early today. This just happened! I stayed up for an hour after I got home and then I went to try. I was still in that "limbo" part where you're awake and could easily stay awake until the end of the day and also you could very easily lay back down and sleep for a few hours. I crawled into my hammock (yes I sleep in a hammock) and started using the usual tried methods I've heard from others and used in AP attempts myself. I tried chanting "mind awake, body asleep" in my mind. I heard that as a tip from someone else. My mind stayed awake longer but I tried so desperately to keep it awake. I had these little "spurts" where I would be fully consciouss and it would fade away before happening again. Then it happened, I came to in sleep paralysis. I was so tired I wanted to follow my body to sleep but I was determined! I sit there frozen for a second or two just thinking, not wanting to wake my body. Then I calmed myself and remembered what I had been taught to do. I could feel my astral body, so I willed myself floating up. It happened but I turned vertical and found myself half way connected, so I thought of another method. I heard somewhere that some people would follow one part of their body out, such as an arm or a leg. I decided to try it, but for some unknown to me reason, I chose a very different part I wonder if anyone has used. I chose my right eyeball. I inched out through it most of the way until only the eyes were left connected. It was such a tight bond I felt if I would had stood fully up my physical body would had hung on and dragged behind me. After a lot of willing and trying I managed to disconnect it. I found my movement very awkward at that point not knowing how to control myself well, but I did manage to float up a bit. I wanted to explore the rest of my house. I heard my grandmother and her sister go out the door. It was hard to move but I managed it but when I tried to float into the living room, I started flying uncontrollably and I flipped and kicked all throughout my house. All around and through walls. I found myself going outside through the walls on both sides. Also through my bedroom where I saw my physical body sleeping almost completely cocooned in the blanket I use since that's always how I sleep. I remember finding myself back near my body eventually but I was atill very tired. I think I remember returning myself to it and then surrendering to 3 hours of sleep myself. It might had not been the proudest of AP's but I'm still very proud of myself all the same!!!

Very good Bravevline! I like your name by the way. I have never tried Aping. but it does sound like that is a exciting experience. How do you get back into your body? do you just think of laying in it and you wake up?

I guess I just sort of said "okay time to go back!" And there it was.

We all go to the astral during sleep and have no problem of coming back. It's actually harder to stay out there than to come back. You have to be very aware to stay out there longer. So the next time you're able to project, do as much as you can.

Fantastic braveline!! Good work!! Sounds like you had a bouncing good time of it out there! Getting through walls is something people often struggle with so you did a fantastic job there! The movements will get easier with practice and absolute intention you can do it.
Very happy for you, might catch you out there some time!
Happy travels, enjoy

Loopy

Well done, you will have many more ap experiences. It must feel really good. It is a great feeling. Thanks to this forum we are able to talk about it. I am not able to talk about it with anyone. I feel like I lead a double life. I feel a bit strange when I think about it. I would hate people to know what I am into. They would probably be horrified so I keep it to myself.

bravevline, that was a good experience! It must feel so brilliant to have got out of body for the first time. I remember my first time.....amazing/scary/exciting all at once!
Keep trying and other experiences will probably happen.

Yes astralsuzy, we are so lucky to have a place like this to freely talk about ap, and all sorts of things. In many walks of life, things like this are never talked about or not known about.
