In stock option classes (taken outside of school), they said a long time ago, some people decided that education in the USA for kids would only teach classes that would produce "workers" when young people graduated. So they wouldn't get high level jobs or "outside the box" jobs. It's actually written somewhere, sorry I can't remember the details. But I think they said some people in government decided it.

Children are the ultimate scientists, asking Why? When? How?. and enjoying their emotions and exploring them. It is our uneducated society that stifles this. Don’t ask so many questions, Don’t cry, Don’t show so much emotion, Don’t think so much, Just do as your told. This abuse is the most inhuman, unintelligent and emotionally destructive behaviour that could ever be inflicted on a human being.
