Manifestation tips that helped you the most?

I used to use the law of attraction to win contests all the time and it always worked. I stopped doing that though because I don't usually want many things.
All I did was simply believe that I would win, and I always would.

But I just tried it recently because I REALLY wanted to win something for my mom for christmas and it didn't work or at least i dont think it worked. Granted, all the other contests I've won, I was actually standing there when they called the names, and this time I just entered the contest by putting my name and phone number in the box and forgot what date they would call the winner.

I affirmed it every single day, I envisioned recieving the prize every single day and believed wholeheartedly that I deserved it and felt the feeling of her excitement upon me giving it to her on christmas morning. I knew they were going to phone me.

I can't remember when the contest was supposed to be finished, but I'm pretty sure it's done by now since it's December 12, but who knows, maybe I'll keep expecting it to come, maybe they haven't called it yet.

It's weird though because I have always had instant success with using the LOA. If I believe something is coming to me it literally has to, because that's how the law of attraction works, so I'm not really sure what happened this time. I believed it was mine with every inch of my being.
