My take on it is we our soul is in eternity. Eternity is like an endless railway running through the universe, life being the temporal stops for the soul along the way. Eternity is what comes after death and before one’s soul attachment after conception. What is eternity like for the soul? In eternity there is no biophotonic light, it is truly black though at times it seemed as if there were areas in this space that was blacker. In general there is no reference in this space, time existed but there was little if any awareness of this. There is only awareness of existence in this space nothing else. There is no thought but there is knowing, knowing of universal truths. There is also an awareness of peace and security.

Yes, many answer because there are many realities. "As Above so below, As below so above", meaning If people think and believe something long enough, it will become reality. So heaven is real not because it is but because people have believed in it for a very long time. So it depends what you believe. But in truth earth is not the only "physical" reality and we most likely incarnate into other realms and places beside earth. Some souls linger in a type of stasis. We are all part of the Creator, we are made of God. Consciousness is only a mechanism to experience existence separated from the Source, to experience things as if we are not part of God (ok now that sounds like the matrix lol), anyhow this is stuff before the movie existed. The law of mentalism.

When we are not incarnating we hang out in the astral heavens for some time due to our good deeds/karma. Its like having graces/vices put into the bank of Spirituality. Eventually your graces will run out and you will have to reincarnate.

Some people get to live in the astral plane for 1000s of years. Many of the Old Testament Prophets have been in the astral for quite some time or have reincarnated as many Catholic saints or as other Mystics in India and the east.

Some of us after enjoying our bliss in the astral go to another solar system of learning and incarnate in some sort of humanoid form or spiritual "form". Some solar systems are spiritual ones that have higher vibrations.

Souls who are steeped in darkness go to astral hells to learn their mistakes but their punishment helps them learn to move on. But some are so awful that they go to other solar systems that have "dark spiritual karma". They manifest in demonic bodies and weird shapes that many cultures shun in their religions. They have been expelled from the Earth School. That is why they say not to play with Ouija Boards because if you are unenlightened you could contact a really horrible entity from these realms or systems.

But I think majority of us come back here. The Earth School is life a big family made up of billions of souls who volunteered at one time or another to partake of this experience. The major advantage of coming to the Earth is that we can grow higher than the angels and become at-one with the Deity.
