suzy my first AP experience had no Negs in it, the more time you AP the higher your chances of running into a Neg. Just like the more time you spend walking around the streets in a city, the more likely you are to run into thugs or trouble makers. Same thing with the astral, I don't think many people run into a Neg with their first OOBE. Being that people spend very little time out of their body on their first projection and most don't even make it out of the Real Time Zone.

Podshell you are right though from my studies alcohol is one of the most damaging substances to us spiritually. It seriously damages our aura and subtle bodies and leaves huge gaping holes in it. Which makes me wonder why less damaging substances are illegal and the most damaging is completely legal and accepted in society. I find it very odd.. conspiracy perhaps? I will not jump to conclusions but it would not surprise me.

Yes I think alcohol makes us more vulnerable, maybe the attacking spirits influence some people to carry on boozing so that they can keep attacking?

For sure bars are infested with entities who had addictions in their physical life. They are just looking for someone to attach to so that they can live vicariously through them and feel the effects of drugs and alcohol again. Negs are super attracted to addicts, drug users, and alcoholics as well as the areas those types tend to congregate in.

I don't believe it's the "alcohol" that causes that. I think there is a general weak mind already present in an individual in that circumstance. Which would really make the alcohol have nothing to do with it.

As I just pointed out to someone else on another forum... there comes a point when people need to stop blaming external sources for their problems.

I have read several books by various Buddhist Monks and all of them said the exact same thing. Alcohol is one of the most damaging substances to your aura and subtle bodies. Being an alcoholic is disastrous for you spiritually.

People can use facts as excuses though, difficult territory if you are an alcoholic , where mentioning facts (or what we believe to be facts) can be misconstrued as excuses.

All drugs are damaging to your aura & subtle bodies when abused. Western culture does not use drugs ritually. They use them recreational at best, habitually at worst. I imagine there are some drugs that if they were used properly for specific rituals under certain circumstances perhaps they would not be as harmful as they are.

But from all of my reading & studying about these matters there is one conclusive answer I have found the same from all sources. Alcohol is the most harmful substance spiritually. There is no ritualistic application for it, it serves no purpose other than to numb your wits, and to damage you physically, and spiritually. People get alcohol poison from drinking too much of it, because it is poison as are many other drugs.

If you are capable of just having a drink here and there obviously the damage will not be as noticeable, but most drinkers either social or habitual don't seem to delve into spiritual matters. They delve into religion at best, which we all know is not the same thing as spirituality.

If one or two sources would say alcohol is damaging I would not believe it to be the absolute truth. But as I said before from all of my studies I have found that all sources state the exact same thing, alcohol is horrible for your spiritually. This is coming from several different cultures, religions, and parts of the world. They all state that alcohol provides the exact same results in every part of the world.

I had no idea people could really do this. I saw it on TV, I should have known because the stuff on TV has to come from real life.
