not sure what this dream means…...

i dreamed my sister was possessed and tried to possess me but i ran and left the guy i was with so she disappeared inside him , possessing him. and no matter how fast i tried to run everything was moving in slow motion so he caught up to me and i remember thinking he can try to possess me but it wouldn't work cuz i have the power of God in me or something like that so he couldn't get inside me but disappeared inside a necklace i was holding in my hand. i guess i was thinking **** now i can't lose this necklace now, its gonna cause mayhem wherever it ends up so to keep it safe i put it around my neck then i woke up.

I'm curious to know what the necklace looked like, but if you can't remember it doesn't really matter. Just wanted to know the significance of the beads or gems on the necklace, and find out what it was made of. Are you into crystals btw?

The necklace was black with a white silhouette of a woman in the middle i don't know what they call those I'm not really into jewelry. crystals yes but I'm not sure what it was made out of it looked kind of like a shiny black. Thanks for your feedback. its been a while since i had a dream, i found it kind of scary to be honest lol.

Sorry to hear that you felt scared of this dream but it's got some very positive signs. The woman in the cameo necklace might represent your inner self and the necklace jewel is a strong symbol.

Thank you for your feedback. lately i've been very sad and depressed and the whole idea of being possessed in the dream freaked me out so yea that's why i found it scary and tried to run away lol.

ha, yea funny you say this because i've been feeling like this guy i was talking to was driving me crazy. One minute he was talking to me and the next minute he was ignoring me just completely stopped taking my calls and ignoring my texts. He wasn't in the dream but still he's been on my mind a lot. i think he is bipolar and i had told him once he was gonna make me bipolar.

I will offer an interpretation that differs a little from these previous ones except in the general idea of control.

There is something in your psyche, some emotion, thought, memory, etc. which threatens to "possess" you. That is, to live unwanted inside you and to control you to a greater or lesser extent. It seems to be a more generalized "possessive energy" as the dream chooses several ways of representing possession and coming after you, rather than a very single or specific part of your psyche. Perhaps it is an emotion.

Your defense is to run from it, but when that doesn't work, to imprison it in a necklace. This makes me think of a psychological defense mechanism of encapsulating, cutting off, freezing, etc. It means you don't have to deal directly with the movement and energy of this guy. However, the danger is not past. You need to keep the necklace safe, and you choose to keep it close to your body. Perhaps even after your attempt to protect yourself from this energy, you carry a subliminal awareness of it with you throughout the day.

The necklace may suggest you have a great deal of inner power to be able to imprison the possessing energy, but in the end it might serve you better if you could face the energy and integrate it into your life.
