Wearing crystals to the beach

Hi everyone :)
How do you protect your crystals at the beach? I have an amethyst pendant and tigers eye bracelet, is it okay to be walking around or swimming in 10-12 o'clock sun for about an hour? Perhaps about once or twice a week? I'm not too worried about the salt, just the fading. Does tigers eye even fade in sunlight? Its a quartz based crystal.

I also have a hematite bracelet, this im not too worried about fading but instead the salt. Thanks

The fading? I wouldn't worry about it. It would take quite some time before it would fade. An hour ... would mean no one could ever wear crystal jewelry outdoors no more.
But what I don't understand is why you don't take it off when you go to the beach. Just to be sure, the salt mostly. Apart from that, beach sand is sharp and hard, so your crystals might get scratched.

if one is wearing a bracelet while swimming, there is always a possibility the bracelet will fall off in the water .....or get lost in the sand, if left on the beach ......
