CS Lewis is one of my heroes. Love his books and his wisdom.
In fact many Christian authors are my heroes. They bring Christian spirit to life with their words.

I've never read a CS Lewis book but I've heard of him. Oh I did see a few of the The Chronicles of Narnia movies.

May I say he is just brilliant...what a mind. I don't think you need to be Christian
to appreciate just how he puts things together.
And only a few chapters of his books are filled with wisdom.
I memorized a paragraph he said in 'Mere Christianity'...not necessarily about Christianity.

Prepare yourself for the coming astral journey of death by daily riding in the balloon of God-perception.
Through delusion you are perceiving yourself as a bundle of flesh and bones, which at best is a nest of troubles.
Meditate unceasingly, that you may quickly behold yourself as the Infinite Essence, free from every form of misery. ~Paramahansa's Guru's Guru

The movies about Narnia kind of ruined the original magic of the books. But that can be said of many movies based on books.
