I went in to a shop once on a gut feeling and got to talk to a woman who happened to be in that day. I was going through some pretty heavy stuff at the time and something came up which triggered tears,well, sobbing is more like it for me. I was grieving a loss. She didn't hesitate to hug me and it was the warmest and most loving hug I think I have ever felt in my entire life, from a stranger.
I intuitively must have gone to a place where I felt I would be safe to be that vulnerable and I think it was the most perfectly aligned place for me to be in that moment.
I needed that reminder today.
