Hi Daisy I just brushed by your response to Green tea and would like to suggest to you to add some pure honey. It makes the world of difference and is the only way I can drink it due to it's bitterness.
Many kind regards xxx

I just started drinking green tea, but the cold version instead of hot - comes in a bottle with added citrus flavoring, very refreshing alternative to soda.
I had no idea Kundalini about green tea enhancing the alpha brain waves - interesting to know, thanks.
and Enlightener, were you serious about green tea ice cream ?

Green tea also contains theanine, which is an amino acid and has a tranquilizing effect on the brain.

Hi all,
I always wanted to be a green tea drinker because of the benefits but could never stand the taste either. I just recently discovered green tea mint flavour and it is fantastic. Made by Liptons (do you have Liptons where you are?). It seems to have the pick-me-up qualities of green tea but with the lovely refreshing mint taste. I drink loads of it. Yay for green tea.

It wasnt so long ago my Dh's doctor told him to cut back on the Green tea drinking. He was told it contained higher quantities of caffeine than coffee in some instances..but Lord knows where he got that from?
He did drink it excessivley.......
To me it tastes like dirty dish water.
Give me Starbucks any day!

Dream Angel, are you sure it's not full of sugar? I've found some cold bottled green tea that is lovely but packed with sugar. I did manage to find one that wasn't full of sugar, but well..... it tasted foul just like the hot stuff.
