The candle of Thought...

So I lit a candle
and another, and then another,
I then took a moment to name them for myself..
for the one, I called "my own inner childhood"
for another I called "my essential realizations"
for yet another I labeled it "my wants and desires"
while lastly, I lit one, for my present..

And they flickered for a time..
without the candle stick moving
they flickered and they glowed
and they shuttered with every breeze
But nowhere did there seem any difference...
...They burned until they withered
and then quietly were no more

Of this I began thinking of my thoughts about things
They flicker, they glow, they shutter with every breeze
but in the end they are memories that I generate along the way
upon concluding, they change
into the meltings of long past..
....of which we are offered new moments to create more

How we deal with such memories is the conditioning of culture
..while the gift of inner-freedom,
is to warmly embrace
and then to playfully transcend from this norm...

Our inner movement of thought,
our engaging embrace of each day we call "life",
is a song that is sung like no other.

We create and we express, we share and we adsorb.

We compose ourselves,
as a deeply complex-collection-of-associative-impressions,
momentarily encapsulated in time...
kinda frozen for the sake of an experience,
then thawed that another may enter.

We are light moving forward in favor of what comes..
and what emerges of this
is a result of the groundwork we lay
of the manor in which investments are made
of the dreams that we weave as to how to proceed

and of those, all combined, there come-forth our gifts...
gifts that are not realized as a collection of things
but gifts that congeal into "wise". :^)
