hybrids
does anyone know any information on hybrids? i've been experiencing a lot of visualizations of a mermaid/faerie/angel

Look into swan maidens and selkies. These possess characteristics of both mermaid and faerie.
Although with the added angelic descriptions perhaps these are closer to undines which are elementals.
Would not hurt to look into all three types on your list as plainly as described to us: mermaid/faerie/angel.
If these are just rich cultural narratives then they contain information important to humanity which was worthy of mythologizing. Maybe in researching all three some strong attribute of theirs will speak to you and would make perfect sense when you came across it.
Faerie are usually thought of only as woodland creatures but they can inhabit more than land but if this is your strongest impression of them then consider than your visualization is leading you to a creature of water/land/air.
