smelling burnt liquorice
Hi, was wondering if any one else has smelt a burnt liquorice smell when meeting someone. Would appreciate any ideas, thanks

i havent, but i believe that it is someone that has passed on that you are experiencing...everyone is unique. maybe they really liked licorice when they were alive... any sort of smell that accompanies the visit has something to do with that person..ie their favorite perfume or cologne, their favorite thing that they cooked when they were alive., their favorite tobacco they smoked, it could be anything!
also, in the 1800's, licorice was a favorite treat, just so you know.. so maybe it's someone from that time period.

Very true Rena444, the OP needs to see who in their family or friends that are in spirit may have enjoyed this treat. It's a common spirit communication method.

Thanks guys, I thought the same except I had not smelt it before and it occured when I first started getting to know my current partner!

Pipe tabbaco smell reminds me of my grandfather so I know it wasnt him.
