So, although this lifetime I am blonde and a bit taller and last seems I was brunette and of avg height (similar build though), still there is a similarity of expression and being and presence which colours the physical appearance, mainly because the soul shines through.

And then again, there are those who look strikingly similar even in the finer physical details across lifetimes. Perhaps they have "gelled" further in that regard. I can think of those who look nearly identical across lifetimes. So they are especially hard to forget, and easy to recognise at the soul level, I suppose ;)

But even if you were a different gender in your past life, there may be just that "something" about you that's the same. I'm talking about the same way your eyes light up when your happy or maybe even as personal as the same thickness of eyebrows. But if that's what you believ

The experience I'm having with it is that plenty traits can cross connect through different lifetimes. Appearance, eyes, gesture, voice, preferences, timings in life etc. can relate to each other - sometimes quite strongly, also depending on the setup the person incarnated with. Only based on my observation - usually people go very quietly about their and other people's lifetimes (in particular the identity) when they know - or only make very subtle comments.

It's funny, I've seen myself several time in the astral plane and in lucid dreams. And sometimes I look completely different from what I look like now. When I see myself all dressed in red and brown Renaissance type clothing, I can recognize myself physically even though I don't really look exactly like that now. But when I see myself with very long thick spiral curly blond hair, I can't really see any physical resemblance at all, yet I still know that it's me because I'm inside that body looking out through those eyes and the more carefree personality is the same as mine.

As far as I know of, this is the only body I have ever had and I see no evidence that I ever had one before or will again.

Once I gain the skill to lucid dream that's the first thing I am doing. Explore my past life and subconscious.
