Now it's nighttime and all the frost outside is glowing purple, because my council estate uses ultraviolet light to illuminate the area to frustrate the crack addicts from shooting up on the street.
Here's a picture:
This is because you can't find a vein in ultraviolet light. What a world!

UV lighting to discourage the addicts from shooting up in your hood is pretty darned cool. Not that they won't find a way, but still - I wonder if it's used in my country (US) - never heard of that before.
