Can meditation be shared? Even unintentionally?
This morning I kept getting the feeling that I should meditate. So, I took a handful of crystals and went to my room. I closed the door and sat in the middle of my bed. I began breathing deeply and feeling my shoulders rounding letting the weight of the world slide from them.
There is a place I envision myself when I meditate. I began to see it. I focused on my breathing. And I cleared my head focusing only on the details of this place. And then I was interrupted. I felt as though someone was distracting me. Though no one was home. And there was no sound from outside.
Again I began envisioning myself in this place. Focusing on the details of it. And feeling my breathing. And again I was interrupted. I don't meditate daily. I don't even meditate on a regular basis. But, when I do meditate I don't struggle with clearing my mind and meditating. So, I was a little confused by this.
Again I cleared my mind and focused on my breathing. I could see the place and the details and as I began to be engrossed in meditation I felt like I wasn't alone in the place. That confused me. Can you actually, share a meditation? Unintentionally?
I tried to remain focused. I focused on my breathing and the details of the location I was envisioning. And then I saw feet. Right next to me. I was sitting in this place that I envision. I knew who it was before I turned to look. As the feeling that accompanied them and came to me was familiar. It was the man that I was involved with a few years ago. The one who in my way I love and have made the conscious choice to not "get over" him and the love we shared.
I looked at his feet and up his legs and at his stomach. And then at his face. And from there the meditation seemed to just stop. I was really confused. Was he there? Was it my imagination? Why couldn't I continue to meditate?
After that I just let myself doze off. And when I woke up I no longer felt the need to meditate. Does this make any sense to anyone? Can meditation be shared in that way? Or was this just my imagination?

I would say that the first thing to appreciate is that we are all connected to each other and entangled with them. Some quite a bit more than others. We are quite literally - Never Alone.
When you woke up you felt better. The need to meditate was resolved.
The imagination is the pathway to our truest reality. Something our instincts and intuition can sense. And Yes, you were using it manifest a physical solution.
