question about nuking veggies, fruits, etc
I know it's advised not to nuke any vegetables or your food in general, and I can understand that and have no problems with cooking things over a stove.
But...I do have a major problem. You see, I work full time, and the only way you can cook things there is via microwave. That makes me annoyed and puts me in a quandry. I want to eat right, but I don't want those nutrients gone.
Any ideas? Like are there any portable gadgets that can cook stuff safely? Or should I just not eat things that require cooking over my lunch break?
Many thanks!

Greetings Shinsoo,
That's a toughy! The only thing I can think off, if you want to go this far, that is, is to use a hot food flask. Sounds totally boring, though. You have my full sympathy.

Hi shinsoo...
Working full time ( 8 hrs. a day) doesn't mean you can't eat properly.
You can very well cook your meal ahead of time and bring it to work ready for consumption. A hot food flask is a great idea for keeping it warm until lunch time.
There are many options....without having to utilize a microwave.

You don't have to nuke your veggies and fruits, eat them raw that's how you get all the nutrients. I can't stand how they taste after it, it give them a weird taste and the texture is horrible. Better not nuking them at all.

Thanks for the responses :)
@kris The link was interesting to read, but would still prefer not to nuke my veggies.
@JOHNTY and Hope I checked them out, sadly I don't eat until about 11am, and I start work at 7am. It'd probably get cold.
@Heaven Yeah, I've heard it's best to go raw, but sadly my body can't take raw veggies just yet. I think I'll just get a steaming pan and slowly start steaming them less and less until I am able to do such. And while I'm at work, I'll bring stuff that doesn't need heating, like fresh fruit and sandwiches.
