What are your favorite crystals/stones and why

I have read quite a bit on crystals and have lots of the tumbled stones. I filled a clear glass vase with them and love to look at them all. Basically, I just like to pick up different stones and see how they feel in my hand.

It's funny, but as a kid I picked up certain rocks/stones/pebbles here and there and would "collect" them. A few years ago when I began reading about and buying crystals, my mom brings over a little bag and when I dump out the contents, my favorite pebbles from my childhood fell into my hand. I was so happy to see them :) She said she didn't even know she had them, just ran across them in some old things and thought I might want them since I was "into" the crystals. :) I love rocks and wood :) LOL
