Independent films.
What is your favourite independent film?
Mine is Harvard Man, it's about a student at Harvard Universitystudying psychology, and he took a very high dosage of acid, and he found the truth through using it. While tripping, Alan, the main character, is tripping while his 2 lovers try to get him away from the FBI, it's really funny and a good movie to keep you on the edge of your seat!
(Do not make this a discussion about drugs, already got 2 warnings for it, lol.)

Off the top of my head, probably Ink:
"A mysterious creature, known as Ink, steals a child's soul in hopes of using it as a bargaining chip to join the Incubi - the group of supernatural beings responsible for creating nightmares."

I'm not sure if it's classified as an Independent Film or not, but it's definitelly an unusual/obscure French animated film called Fantastic Planet (La Planete Sauvage)...
It's a VERY trippy movie...
