facial expressions sounds good... maybe look for some "stressful" grimaces.
how about shapes of things for another idea -- like "circles in nature".
or, how about tricks with lighting? where things look different depending on
how the light strikes them, or how brightly.

Tricks with lighting sounds good, i like the ideia of circles in nature what did you had in mind with this theme?
For the tricks with lighting i would used a lantern with various colours.
I also tought of shadows theme, i love shadows as well.
Complicated to decide lol

Smoke or steam is really cool when you photograph. Steam from cooking ( capturing the steam of a draining spaghetti pot) steam from outside buildings, if you live near factories, smoke or steam can be beautiful to photograph. Steam/smoke from cars maybe. Also, steam from outside vents from the streets usually seen early in the wee hours of the morning.
Smoke ( from cigs) out of people's mouth can be cool to photograph too. Smoke from burning Sage is also a lovely sight
Here is a pic of some steam in the city of New York last time I visited. When you make them into black and white, it really is a lovely sight.

Good luck with your project. I hope you ace it! : )

for the circles idea, i'd thought of recording how particular shapes seem
to sprout up repeatedly and in unrelated contexts. a spiders web can look
like concentric circles, a sinkhole opening, a steam vent/geyser, and then
there's all the man-made circles and wheels.

I found out a theme guys.
Escapism ways of escape the reality. This way, i will write a good descritive memory wich is what i am looking foward.
I was really bad with the other ones so now i am finnishing the first year i want to do it right. I already took some pictures today.
Good News is that we don´t have class on Monday it gives me more time and an extra day to take more pictures.
I may do some of your ideias as well to make photos more interesting.
Thank you all <3
