losing weight

I heard people lose about 20 grams when they die. Is this correct?

This is based on a 1907 study which found that at the moment of death there was a weight loss in the body of 21 grams. Excluding all other possible causes, it was hypothesised that this was the weight of the departing soul. The study was very limited, with only six original subjects, and I don't know if it has ever been reproduced.

I heard this from Mike L on *****ute.
And later learned than Alex Collier had said the same thing in 90s.
It should be easy to test, why would people not do it, and if true, understand it more:
probably it is done , and hidden. Lots of things can be done by analyzing aura energy. For example taking its photos can be fun and useful for medical purpose.

If false, the reason for this mistake can be: stuff coming out of mouth in the last breath, or if the person is looking up,..momentum of upwards breath (if fast enough), may mean downward push for the body and can affect the scale for short period of time. But a real experimenter would take this into account. Why not do this test with animals, by killing something painlessly. or with plants.
