Confused about my Reading

I pulled my tarot deck out of hiding after a long time (as I only tend to use it every so often to avoid becoming somewhat dependent) and I thought of my current job situation while I drew a 3-card spread (Head, Heart and Stomach).

The first card I pulled which represented the Head (thoughts on the situation) was:
Ace of Chalices.

The second card I pulled which represented the Heart (feelings on the situation) was:
Eight of Staves (or rods, if you prefer that word).

The third card I pulled which represented the Stomach (gut or hidden feelings on the matter) was:
Squire of Pentacles.

I kind of agreed on the Ace of Chalices as I had been thinking of new ideas to try (more creative line of work, publishing children's books, etc) and I supposed the Eight of Staves makes sense in the way that in order to pursue a more creative line of work I would benefit from focusing more on the Here and Now.

But the Squire of Pentacles kind of threw me off. The description the booklet that came with my deck gave (in the here and now, absorbed in the act of creating) wasn't quite what I was expecting. It seems to me like the cards seem to be mostly in agreement when I was actually expecting more along the lines of 'Okay, this part (head/heart) is doing alright, but you've got to work on such-and-such (stomach).

What would you say the above spread is trying to tell me?

Page [Squire ?] of discs is concerned with Health, first impulse of the element of Earth. Paying attention to the needs of the physical body and your health. Diet, exercise and relaxation in equal measure. Take a holistic approach and recognise the interconnection of mind, body, and spirit.

I googled and found this about Squire (Knight) of Pentacles>>>

Boiled it down ~

The Knight of Pentacles is this Knight is very consistent. But Knights are supposed to be fast, and this Knight is plodding. It will seem like things are moving/changing at a crawl. The Knight of Pentacles has lots of irons in the fire, she takes her work (or studies) very seriously, and is always looking ahead to the future; she likely has long term plans, including what she wants to be, ... it can cause her problems when it comes to handling the unexpected or improvising. If she didn't plan for it, she doesn't know what to do about it. Similarly, this Knight is uncomfortable standing out. While she wants to have the best that money can buy, she also wants to fit in. This person needs to have her own room or secret place. Also, she can be far too solitary, too concerned with perfection, or earning a place of respect. Fear of failure or standing out may keep her from leaving her room.

I sure hope some of this is truly meaningful, if not, you know what to do, lol.

Thanks, Silvergirl, but I really did mean the Page, as Norseman put it

As for the health reference, my booklet didn't say anything about that. It just went on about how he doesn't want to get dirty even though he might have to and how pretty and androgynous he was

It's OK. I'm translating the Dutch terms to English ones and we tend to use the word for Squire in Dutch rather than Page. The Dutch word (schildknaap) refers more to a young male who aids Knights rather than being a Knight himself. Page is more like a noble youth in general.

Ahh, while we're on the topic... I did another reading wondering if I'll be having anything resembling a love life any time soon, and the following cards (same 3-card spread) was the result:

Head card:
Eight of Pentacles

Heart card:
Ten of Pentacles

Stomach (gut feeling) card:
Page of Wands

Everything today seems to be pointing toward a new business venture... o_O
But at the same time, when I drew a single card just for fun it gave me the Ten of Wands which basically says stop trying so hard and get your bearings on your situation. Take a trip.

It's funny because I got a fortune cookie last Saturday that read You will have a nice journey. A lot of the stuff above points to journeys as well. I don't even have any traveling plans...

Hi Netseeker, I use the Sacred Circle Tarot which tends to differ from others in that it is based on pagan mythology and imagery.

how about: there is something you know you need to do or learn, something you need to overcome but you really don't want to. you really don't want to go there and let it again influence your life. you thought you close the door but you know it is not really closed.
but still, you will have to face it, if you want to really move on with your life.
it will bring development to your life, and new opportunities concerning your life.
also a general improvement with your health and physical life.
it also might suggest that you are very active with your brain and mind but not so with your body and it is time to go to the gym and do some work outs.

*ahem* What ever gave it that idea...?

The problem with me is that not only am I the laziest person I know, I hate pretty much all sports. Plus, around here, you don't go to the gym unless you already look good. People who go to gyms who really look like they belong there are ridiculed behind their backs.
