That's alright Slayer OfLight,
I came across the term Ambivert a few months back-I can't even remember how I came across the word, but it is interesting, in that it describes people more than just
Extrovert = love being around people
Introvert = don't enjoy being around people.
See I'm also shy-which some may see as an introvert thing, but I wouldn't say it is.
The shyness also prevents me from talking to people I come across, I can talk to 1 or 2 people, but even then I'll just freeze, not because of shyness, or because I wonder what people think of me, but it just happens.
This happens even when I'm with friends and people I feel comfortable around and have known for a long time.
I've also come across extroverts who may be fine around loads of people, but then value their alone time.

That's the thing.
When I'd read about being an introvert-parts of it fitted with who I am, but then I also like being around people, and people watching, and I like being in social situations, and being part of a group.
Hence when I came across the definition of Ambivert, it did help, as it didn't make me wonder what was going on anymore.

I'm extremely introverted, and am happiest when I am alone and doing my own thing. If I didn't have to work, I'd probably never leave my property except to go buy necessities and building materials; I can come up with plenty of ways to amuse and entertain myself and keep my mind stimulated when left to my own devices.
At the same time, I get along very well with other people, and enjoy their company; I just want it in limited doses, is all. When I get together with friends, it's one or two of them at a time, and usually we go do something (such as hiking, camping, or working on a DIY project) that doesn't force any of us to engage in a lot of idle chatter (as my friends tend to be introverts, too).
I don't have any social anxiety, and have good social skills, so I can seem far more extroverted than I am, which is very useful. But at the end of the day, I still just want to go home and shut the door on the world and let my batteries recharge.

I think that my social skills are not that good to be honest-well mainly because of being shy.
I've surprised people when I've told then that I'm shy, it's funny how you think you're like towards the world, and how people see you.
But I do agree with the limited doses and coming up with plenty of ways to keep myself entertained and amused.
