Opinions on my love reading.
Hello there! Recently I had two tarot readings from two different people involving my current love situation including me, my ex boyfriend and his new girlfriend. Long story short, my ex left me for someone who both readers see her as controlling/manipulative. To sum up, I ask both the same questions - "What is going with my ex? Why am I seeing him around more? Is the connection still there or has it faded away?"
My first reading: The Chariot, The Justice, Ace of Cups, 6 of Cups, Knight of Wands.
My second reading: 8 of Swords, Higher Priestess, The Justice, Queen of Swords, and Wheel of Fortune.
I noticed I got the Justice card which I know a glimpse of the meaning but not how it fits into my situation. Any opinions or thoughts on my reading would be delightful, thank you.

Every reader reads their cards differently, each having their own thoughts on the card meanings and interactions.
Without knowing which if the 3 questions they focused on (as your enquiry is 3 seperate questions) and if these readers used a fixed position spread or assigned positions for the cards, any other input could be very different from what the original reader has told you.
FWIW: I don't see any controlling or manipulation in these cards, Justice coming up twice actually, for me, speaks of the opposite (fairness, equality and truth).

Apart from that, you cannot have a reading done about another person without their consent, so the first question is 'invalid'...

It's more a 'should not' than a 'cannot', it's an ethical thing really.
It is possible to read from a third party's perspective, however I feel its a bit like rummaging through someone's underwear drawer, you shouldn't really do it as it's private. Some readers are happy to read on this type of question (look at some of the other tarot forums, where post after post are exchanges on how he/she thinks/feels etc).
I don't see the question being invalid, I just feel it is one of those blurred lines.
If the question had been 'what's going on between me and my ex?' that would be a different ballgame. A straight out 'tell me about my ex' type of question, that would be a no-no for me.
