from the stillness centre
around which life orbits
we look at shifting tides
cajoling us to enter trance
that forgetting our source
we dwell in the matrix
but now free from desire
no gluey thought arises
and thus we remain still
at peace in the light of Self
renewing itself within us
as humming bliss magnetism
dissolving time and space

we become the void
that holds all opposites
in its boundless womb
wherein our awareness
bereft of narrow identity
pulsates with vitality
in agendaless vibrance
whence with eye of soul
we recognise the truth
which may not be described
by symbolic words dualistic
being subjective awareness

asserts itself as base reflex instinct
from which no doubt we rebound
but not before recognising

when there be no seeking
bliss unendingly renews within
because there’s no energy leaking
the seeker who sought has disappeared
all that there is, is presence aware
in equipoise by day and night

a burning yearning playfully arose
cajoling the universe to replay a refrain
however we cannot cross the same river twice
and therefore we smile, yawn and move on
