At some point my ego gave up and diminished to a manageable level. Now I have found a good middle ground between being myself (ego) and allowing enough space for the spirit to come through from time to time.
It's a fun journey. In the beginning I was all about rushing. Now I'm enjoying the cycles and the slow progress.

I lived in Texas for years. Houston, Pasadena and lastly San Marcos. Some cities have a cess pool of negative emotions like Houston and San Antonio. Austin has a light feel to it. All my opinion, I'm not a expert in this type of thing. Smaller towns were easier for me to live in.

It all depends on the town. The town i live in is small I've been here for 8 years now. For whatever reason you can still feel the hardships that made this town. A negative feeling that never goes away. At one time this was a small fishing village off of Lake Michigan. Since I lived here it always felt dark. So i looked into its history and found out why.

I was speaking about Texas but I do understand what you are saying. I lived in a small town called Newberg, Oregon once and it had a terrible black heavy feel to it. And the teenagers did some really bizarre things. I mean really weird.
I was thinking there was a satanic cult located somewhere near there.

what i found is bliss is a birthright. not something for a particular kinda person.
i was going through an awakening. they seemd to make it real clear that i can be myself and dont let anybody try to con me into anything different.

finaly after a number of years i found out the truth. the truth is very simple. the nervous system becomes activated by spirit and the body and mind become full of bliss/joy. that joy becomes you. and it can happen anybody. an honest teacher whom is far enough along,
my intuition said it could be anyone. because its everyhone.

Running hello there and thanks for sharing your story
I'm glad you found out about the gluten thing so your food is not killing you any longer (always a plus!)
I really resonated with what you shared about awakening...and more happy trails to you!
Peace & blessings

sorry for the delay. been busy and had and especially with a run with a number of drops in new orleans. that place stresses me out a bit but i enjoy going there. some of it just isn't all that truck friendly. last time i was there had to maneuver around a number of power lines and came close to taking out a stop sign in a tight turn. lol. no other way to get there. used every inch, curb, and side walk available. lol. this time i was warned of a tight turn going into one of my deliveries. and there is no sign for it. cause a truck knocked it down. lol. went smooth and these drops were very easy compared to a few i seen there. we had a driver have to get escorted out a one way road by the cops going the wrong way. another one of our drivers had a guy jump up on his truck claiming he was gonna shoot him if he didnt pull over and give him what he wanted. our driver said sure. grabbed his tire iron and clocked him right in the head. splattering blood all over the truck. all in all its a good place to make drops but my nerves get tied up a bit. maybe not next time as things been going good for me there.

Linen and Hollow
yeah i get the emotions tied to places. i know what. you mean.
for whatever reason dallas and houston i get the most power out of all the places i go. sometimes it can be tough cause its pushing up against my obstructions. once i get rolling on the road that all dissipates and its just a beautiful joy of various flavors.
