memories of a past life
were they yours or mine ?
Visuals so clear
your presence so near
now there is a distance
a hazy, almost there feeling
The faintest hint
of a ghost like appearance
dances thru my mind
at the strangest of times
Spirit beckons me to follow
yet the reasons it gives
all seem so hollow
Echoes in the dark of night
Whispers tiptoeing carelessly
in the shadow of pale moonlight
Once upon a time
seems like so long ago
Shall I cling to the memories
or just let them go ?
