*Minor Arcana: The Aces*
So, my brain goes blank A LOT when I am looking at certain minor arcana and lack a strong feeling for them.
I thought it might be helpful to go through the minors where others can share memorable words or stories that they feel resonate with the cards.
Aces first.
Ace of Wands, Ace of Cups, Ace of Pentacles, Ace of Swords.
FYI, in order, the decks are... Legacy of the Divine Tarot, Morgan-Greer Tarot, The Star Tarot Deck, and Radiant Rider-Waite Tarot.

I've learnt that upright aces represent beginnings to me. "Page One" type stuff. Ace of Pentacles is the one I used to struggle with the most, but I've recently started looking at it kind of like a key - it's small in itself, but the key opens up a gate, which opens up to a big open space with a mountain, and... you get the picture :)
Reversed, I find some represent beginnings more than others - reversed Aces of Wands or Swords asks me to be more flexible in my behaviour/communication or thinking respectively as they're holding me back.

Maybe off topic but which deck does that ace of pentacles belong to? I really like it!

Thanks tealily!
I like your ace of pentacles idea. I usually think of a seed being planted which has the potential to grow into something fruitful. I will keep your key idea in mind.
I struggle most with ace of wands and ace of swords... other than the basics, wands represent fiery energy of the personal will/spirit... and swords deals with airy understanding and intellect.
Patricia - The deck is called, 'The Star Tarot'. Unfortunately, the deck is not yet completed, lol. The artist originally sold a deck of only majors. But now shes developing the rest of the minors!
I hope its reasonably priced when its finished, because I definitely would like to own it. I looove the artwork! I'm usually drawn to vibrant, rainbow like color pallets, lol.
If you google 'Star Tarot Cathy McClelland' you will find the artists page!

Ace of cups+ Overflowing Feelings
Ace of Pentacles+ Seeds of prosperity and security
Ace of Swords+ Cutting through, Clarity
These are just my own keywords and they are not inclusive.

For me, the aces represent the suits in their raw form. Ace of Cups is almost always intense emotions, just emotions in themselves. Ace of Wands is usually passion and/or creativity itself. Ace of Swords is often conflict, and Ace of Pentacles is either money or nature.
