Those Who Have Gone Before Us--to find the God within.
Those who have gone before us,
who have walked the pathway through the mist and have found the deep well
from which we all must drink,
can show us the way.
Those mystics, scribes, gods and goddess' have traversed this field of reality,
and have united in soul at the end of their journey, where all become one.
They can speak to us of the hazards and the glory that can be known
as we step upon this divine road to find the God within, at journey's end.
Those brave souls have looked upon the preexisting terrain of reality,
beset with its limitations and its fear, and have said:
"This will not do, this is not for me; there must be something else,
something deeper that I will seek."
So, they set out on this journey of mystery, of evolvement, and took the road within
to the landscape of what we have borne, of what we have known.
Then deliberately and without fear—sometimes—they traversed the internal realm,
and shook their own foundation, of being,
in order to come to the place from which they can at last drink.
Such an elixir as this unfolds the petals of the mightiest heart,
and bequeaths to us the courage and strength to open to our vulnerability,
thereby revealing our innocence.
Thus we find the love that we have always been seeking, discovering that it exists within.
Then the journey, and all else that has been, no longer matters,
as such a truth as this is found.
But, in the last, even as so many have walked before us and shown us the way,
it is to our own heart that we must listen.
It is to our own truth that we must turn, so that we can come to this place in our own way,
that the rose of our heart may flower before that sun of love and truth.

Your post connects me in this moment to those in our soul family who have gone before us and now reside in spirit. When I walked through a generational healing space, I was awakened in deep fears to face within me. As I remembered the pain in that space yesterday, I was able to see with eyes of gratitude to the war on terror I had to walk. Your words allow me to once again see with eyes of appreciation of my family before me. In their fear and pain and suffering, I am grateful for the inner turmoil and pain....they gave me a gift to become who I am today..and to know I can trust fully in following my heart now...
Thankyou again.
