Sometimes crystals size... does matter. Sometimes beauty.. does matter. Here's why !

I am a firm believer that the size of a crystal doesn't always matter since some small crystals and stones seem to have a more powerful energy than bigger crystals.

Then again, is not fair to also compare different crystals like apples and oranges, we should compare a big apple with a small apple and a big orange with a small orange. Meaning, we can't compare a small Moldavite with a big chunk of Tourmaline

Yes, there is also a factor such as the beauty of a crystal. The beauty of a crystal in my opinion is actually something that makes us the person who 'uses' the crystal, it makes us more receptive to its energies, through various different mechanisms, one of these mechanisms being the ability to draw much more our full attention. I will expand further below.

One of the most visually appealing crystals you have ever seen online or in real person - they might initially have an energy not as powerful than your small and cheap and modest looking piece, but that is because attractiveness is something which taps into our full attention. This can revolve around any other topic. Think of people, some may draw your attention because they look beautiful and take care of themselves, but it is also possible that once you get to know that person, there isn't much 'inside'. On the same train of thoughts, there are also people who are like ghosts, hardly noticeable and they don't even try or care, but if you get to know them, they are a true rare gem.

What I mean with the above paragraph is that attention may cause one to further inquiry and connect with the energy of a crystal/person/place/task/anything. Think of it, in layers of attention, or a scale from 1 to 10 if you want. Naturally, we can manually have intent to raise our attention, however we are humans and we are creatures of habit and automation and if we are not used to manually do something, then we won't do it all the time until we rewire ourselves to do so; also sometimes when a crystal is beautiful and in a good size, it also may have a good energy as well, and the interesting part is that the more beautiful it is, the more it will draw your attention - and the more you will connect with its energies. But, even then, no matter how beautiful something may be, a person can get used to that beauty and take it for granted or just automatically stop "seeing" the beauty with the same eyes, leading again to not properly connecting with the crystal or your spouse, friends.. list can go on and on.

Therefore, size and beauty can help, but regardless of that, it all comes down to you.
