My art deco painting

Studied some of Alphonse Muchas work and decided to have a go at doing one.

Click on the link below. I think I’ve worked out how to make it clearer

I also took a course last year on how to paint like the Impressionist and decided to have a go at learning how to paint like Renoir so decided to copy one of his paintings. I chose to do a different face rather than the one he did cos I didn’t like his ha This should be below the picture that comes up. You just have to click on it.

I’ve actually posted TWO paintings on that post. The second one is just underneath the first one but you have to click on it for it to come up bigger. It’s easy to miss tho.

AngelB. Yeah over the years I’ve been asked so many times to have exhibitions and also been asked by galleries if I wanted to exhibit my work.

I’ve refused to put my work in galleries mainly because they take 40% for themselves on the sale and so it would hike the price up and I think that’s very unfair to the customer and the artist. Criminal really!

I’ve never wanted to hold an exhibition either because it’s just not my thing and also the price hike again.

But to be really honest I’ve never had to do it because I’ve always managed to get coffee shops to hang them and sold just about everything I’ve ever painted so why bother with that other cr…….p.

As for being famous. Omg I couldn’t think of anything worse! Not for me mate!

But thanks so much for your comments everyone. Really appreciate your kind words.
