Has anyone ever witnessed flaming skulls and know their significance?

I have never seen one and I haven't heard of others seeing one. This is the only explanation I could find - I checked about 10 pages. http://paranormal.lovetoknow.com/Ghost_Flames.

My son used to see them and I was just curious if anyone else has ever encountered them. It was explained that they are messagers or contain messages. Each colored flaming skull has a particular meaning.
Thank you for the replies Occultist and OTB. And thanks so much for doing so much research on the subject OTB. The Ghost Flames are a fascinating subject.
