UFO's have been around since ancient times, but, yes, there has been an influx of UFO activity since around 1948.

Mankind has discovered how to split the atom, and made the first atomic bomb and used it, in 1945. Man made a major leap. As of the late 40's, we now can literally blow up the whole world.

Maybe this increase in UFO activity is because " they " are keeping tabs on us.

" Look, human beings now have figured out how to split the atom. We must now watch over them, lest they destroy themselves, and their planet. They have been ,and probably always will be, a war like being, fighting against each other. Yes, we must watch over them."

It started after the nuclear detonations a bit earlier than 1948. I dont think it has much to do with the re-establishment of Israel. I think the aliens might have increased efforts at monitoring the dangerous self destructive humans

Here is the thing, PGrundy, also.

I believe this situation and why it is kept undercover by certain authorities will come down to the nature of what we consider "Reality" itself. Think about what makes up our reality, in, "The World".
I've come to accept also that humanity has it's roots, and actual situation in the angelic. In the immaterial, unseen,and spiritual.

Given that. What would that make then, of, "Aliens"?

The classic statement, which was related in the movie, "Contact" is, "If there is no one else out there, then it woulod be a great waste of space."
But also, Physics tells us today about reality, and space, stating...

"Reality is merely an illusion, albeit a very persistant one."

So... Question: "Space Bretheren"? Or... "Demonic"?

Maybe there's been a sudden increase in UFO sightings since 1948 because around that time would be when revolutionary (at the time) new jet powered aircraft started to become commonplace, after Britain, in times of dire straights following WW2, starting selling our engines to all and sundry.

in the book 'the montauk project', it states that it was around 1943 that they began their remote viewing experiments. montauk was a continuation of the philadelphia experiment.

when the remote viewers experimented, they left a thing like a worm hole and it was said, something came back from the other side-something not very nice. several of the viewers ended up in mental hospitals, though i suspect it was also to keep them quiet about what they knew and saw.

it's a fascinating book.

einstein was n on that one but later warned them we knew how to make the ship disappear but we weren't sure how to bring it back. they went ahead with it anyways. it was an utter, horrible failure so they 'said' they would close down those experiments.

then they secretly moved to montauk and continued.
