The chorus to “The Greatest Love of All” made famous by Whitney Houston.
I decided long ago, never to walk in anyone's shadows
If I fail, if I succeed
At least I'll live as I believe
No matter what they take from me
They can't take away my dignity
Because the greatest love of all
Is happening to me
I found the greatest love of all
Inside of me
The greatest love of all
Is easy to achieve
Learning to love yourself
It is the greatest love of all
Thanks for your lovely post's and kind words Perspective. I love your avatar...is it Banff?

Hi NewRageGuru-
I LOVE that song! In fact, it's one that I play often, especially when I need a spiritual boost. Thanks for posting the beautiful lyrics!
My avatar picture isn't of me, but looks like me. It's in Canada. Someday, I want to explore the Canadian Rockies!

Echo & The Bunnymen - Silver lyrics
Swung from a chandelier
My planet sweet on a silver salver
Bailed out my worst fears
'Cause man has to be his own saviour
Blind sailors
Imprisoned jailers
God tame us
No one to blame us
The sky is blue
My hands untied
A world that's true
Through our clean eyes
Just look at you
With burning lips
You're living proof
At my fingertips
Walked on a tidal wave
Laughed in the face of a brand new day
Food for survival thought
Mapped out the place where I planned to stay
All the way
Well behaved
Just in case
It slips away
Man! I'm diggin' this game!

New Zealands; Chris Knox:
Haven't I got what I wanted?
Haven't I got what I need?
Anything more would be wasted
Anything more would be greed
Haven't I learned all that's going?
haven't I learned from all I've heard?
Anything more would be excess
Anything more would be absurd
I don't want anything more
Haven't I loved to my utmost?
Haven't I loved to my fill?
Anything more might be painful
Anything more might make me ill
Haven't I been how I wanted?
Haven't I been how I seemed?
Anything more might await me
Anything more might break the dream
I have my blog as my signature Yippee!
