waking up to voices speaking names of stranger

I'm looking for some insight and/or experience as I'm at a loss..last week I had 2 nights in a row of white shadows moving in my room, a presence by the bed, doors being opened that were closed..not a feeling of danger or fear but alot of obvious activity. On the third morning I was woken up very abruptly by a man's voice saying a woman's name that was very unusual. First and last name only..no spoken message but very urgent in nature. I have had visitations by the dead in the past but always someone I was able to identify or else a silent visitation by an unfamiliar person but never unfamiliar names out of the blue. I googled the name a few different spellings/combinations and found a facebook link for the exact name spoken to me. I contacted this woman in a private message but she isn't responding. I see that her husband died at the end of february and wonder if he is trying to contact her through me. I have had dead ones come to me to say goodbye before. Since then the activity has died down completely. I would love to understand the significance of this occurence or what it might represent..does anyone have any ideas? I have virtually no one to speak to about these occurences and very little understanding of the paranormal per se as a result. I'm a little shaken and would appreciate any feedback.
