1956 film with reincarnation theme
A film I watched last night on YouTube is "I've Lived Before" which seems to have been made deliberately for audiences who had never heard the word "reincarnation" before.
Fiancée: "But darling, that would be re-in-car-nation, and there's no such thing. They'll think you're crazy!"
The film begins with the protagonist being a US fighter pilot shot down and killed in an air battle in France in 1918.
From there the story develops (1 hr 20 minutes): an unusual skill a boy has at age 12: then the man who was the boy and his disastrous search, the psycho-babble explanations of his medical doctor and the outright disbelief of his fiancée: the sudden memory recall.
Really enjoyable.
