Lol, it was a work of art and with all gf doughs it takes talent to work with. That's why I wrote instructions in such detail for newbies to gf living.

I used to make fruit cakes.

I don't think I can do it today..... I never wrote anything down.

I remember the first thing I got was any dried fruit that was on sale/cheap.
Then I got the spices
and then soaked everything in a covered bowl in the refrigerate for 1-2 months as they soaked up the Vodka.

Those who partook, for some reason, were always in a joyous mood.

I got to get back to making things like that.

With the holiday months coming up, I always buy my share of turkeys. Got to wait for them to come on sale. Nothing like turkey gravy.

Right now I see something with apples in it like an apple pie..... maybe mixed with something else.

I used to have to order organic turkeys from a internet farm store. Now that I am no longer corn intolerant, I can buy regular turkeys. I'm thrilled.

Oh, and apples are in season now.

There are a lot of things I want to get back to. Oct 13 (spine stimulator operation) can't come fast enough. Still have one more hoop to jump thorough...covid test on the 8th.

Where I am at, they are really pushing for another shut down.

When I got my shoulder implant, they just opened up the hospital to allow surgery. As I was being wheeled to the surgery room, I told them that you can even smell smoke inside the hospital. They said you can smell smoke all over the hospital. Outside the hospital, you could see the fire from the hospital. About 130,000 acres burnt.

Shortly after the operation, they closed the hospital once more for operations.

That's scary! We have smoke..visible smoke from the California fires, etc, but no fires near us.

I get this email newsletter from Earth Clinic. They post natural remedies. Once they posted about collagen. I looked it up and decided to try it. It works like a charm! After 2 weeks I could feel my joints more flexible. 4 weeks in and I could jump out of my chair. It is amazing.

Now I'm trying boron (from their recommendation). I'm using Mineralife Liquid Ionic Boron. It is supposed to reduce inflammation due to arthritis. I've been taking it for 2 weeks. I'm still in pain but not as sharp as it used to be. I'll continue taking it and let you know the results.

This Earth Clinic comes up with some pretty neat stuff.
