The meaning of Christianity on the long term

The long term trascendental teaching that Christianity has given humanity in my opinion is about sacrifice. Of course it has been corrupted since the beginning to fit the needs of those who hold power rather than the real word. Anyways a spiritual experience shouldn't depend on a mediator religion, though most people still nowadays need one cause they feel they can't have a spiritual connection otherwise.

So, once again a demonstration of an errant understanding of "Religion" is posted.
Regarding Christianity, it is the viewpoint of someone peering in from outside, and making mistaken conjecture.

We are all in the same boat here, regarding this organic situation in time and space, and to anyone with an objective perception, the need for salvation is evident.

The ultimate aim is the attainment of Christ Consciousness ....

For me, knight, the ultimate aim is reception of God's greatest gift of reconciliation, and salvation, in the sacrifice He made for us.

There will inevitably a myriad of interpretations and different understandings. I think that, in itself, is not pivotal. What is central is if one's understanding transfers into a catalyst for positive change i.e. to engage n Service, to be kinder, more forgiving and so forth. Because that really is the crux of any Master's life and teaching, if it changes people for the better, if it exalts.
And to do that is the mark of greatness of soul.
