I love your ocean (and I tried counting all the figures )...I wish I knew more about art technique so that I could comment more succinctly about why your art appeals to me -- the best I can come up with is that the images are vivid and clean. (I tried!)

Thanks muileag.

What you say is up to you.
Everybody have their own perception, emotions, and opinions.

I love bright colours, especially the primary colors, and some say I am a bit of a colorist.
I have a glass prism, and quite often I just love to look at the rainbow spectrum from it. It is the purest colors to observe. It is colored light and seems alive to me.

I like your art alot. your paintings bring about a peaceful feeling the neutral toned paintings. the brighter the colors the more emotion I see in your art. I like your use of nature in your art as well.
good work

my space is being used as storage(sadly) so I guess my studio would be my sofa and the surrounding area in my living room

Hello Spiritualist74.

I am glad you like my work.
I see your art is also full of bright colours. They remind me of a time when I use to use colour felt pens for designing (commercial art) layouts. I used to love using them.

My current studio is my living room too. I also use my dining table as well.
Why not take a photo of your makeshift studio/sofa and post it here. I would like to see it.

Thanks for dropping by.

1993-1995 I was a full-time student at the University of Sydney. I was preoccupied to do any art.
1995, I relocated from Sydney to the northern coasts of NSW.
1996-2001 Iwas interested in crystal thearpy. I turn my skills to artisan work. I created several wands.
After 2002 I no longer had any need for the wands, so I thought. Then I decided to sell them via artworks.
Each wand was to be presented in a display case of sorts, aka box art, or assemblage. They were also to contain collages. This project, like many others, was put on hold. The project may restart in the future.
Here is the wand collection, and my makeshift studio of that time.

Hello Hope33.
I am sorry you feel cooped up and stuck where you live. It is frustrating.
It is nice to be able to get away, and freely walk in the open spaces of nature. It is good for the soul.

That's just it...I don't feel free.
I am also emotionally stuck... I sometimes just stand out on the balcony, gazing up at the birds and wishing I were one of them...free to roam the skies.

Sorry to read that Hope33.
Why not catch an early morning train to a nature reserve, or beach, or some other nature spot. Spend some time away from your home.
That is what I like about bicycle riding.
