23rd Psalm
To anyone out there, Christians, and even those who may not be devout Christians, but who have openness of mind and Heart....
Never forget the strength in the 23rd Psalm.
Psalm 23 King James Version (KJV)
The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.
He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters.
He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake.
Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.
Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.
Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord for ever.
It is good to memorise this, It is a bringer of peace and help if ever spiritual help is needed in an emergency, or if there is any 'overshadowing' of unwanted spiritual/paranormal forces which won't lift by other means.

That's one of my favourite biblical quotes. I find it very comforting.
Though I do sometimes use my own version as a joke. ;) It goes...Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I shall fear no evil, for I carry a big stick, and I'm the meanest mutha in the valley!
Couldnt resist. But seriously, I do love that psalm.

I had memorized it years ago. One day I will make a concerted effort to memorize Desiderata.
