BodyTalk?

Anybody every heard of BodyTalk created by a guy named Veltheim? First I saw of it today, and although it looks interesting, it's hard to find anything but tiny tidbits as to what it actually is? Is it tapping or movements like EFT or Core Energetics? Is it energy work directly with chakras, etc.? I can't tell anything except the usual generic stuff about the body having all the info to heal itself inside every cell. True, but every healing modality says this. I wish new modalities would at least give some general description of how the system works.

I know this an an old post but I've had several distance sessions with 2 practitioners. It did nothing to improve my physical condition BUT one of the practitioners sensed something pretty amazing. There are many "modules" or courses you can take in BodyTalk after the foundational stuff.

One of the practitioners who worked on me had advanced in many of theses electives and it opened up her intuition. She did a quick distance session on me with me not even on the phone with her. I didn't know when she did the session, but she called me when it was over to tell me what health related stuff came up that she shifted. She also mentioned that during the session, a female energy "came through" giving me "permission to live".

I was floored. At a time of desperation, I'd say a few months earlier, I had cried out to my mother (she had passed away almost 15 years earlier). I was (and still am) going through a year long mystery illness no one so far can cure. I had some major guilt issues regarding my mom, her illness and eventual death and going through my illness, due to the guilt, I asked my mother if it was OK with her if I lived, even though she hadn't survived hers. I asked her permission. I know it sounds crazy to ask such a thing, but emotionally, how we feel isn't always rational though it has a tight grip on us.

So anyway, to have this BodyTalk practitioner receive this info and relay it to me was pretty incredible. Did it change things for me, did I heal? I can't say it did, I have lots of issue to heal but it's something I keep close to me and reflect on at times when I need strength.
