Post Is it wrong to download free music...

I am going to being honest here, I do tend to download a sheet load of songs from new albums on particular bands. It does affect one's career on making music if their albums aren't being sold to the public. Any of you download music for free? If not, do you know anyone who does? Is it wrong to do so?

I would say two things about that. Some bands will release a free download or two, so there is nothing wrong with downloading it.

If you feel you are stealing it, on the other hand, and you have a problem with that, then you will feel like you are stealing and you are telling yourself you are a thief, and that might show up in your life in other unexpected ways.

If you don't feel you are stealing it, or you don't feel that it is wrong to download, then you don't have an issue here.

It really doesn't matter what anyone else thinks about it. But the fact that you asked is probably saying that you are not totally comfortable with it.

Oh I wasn't aware on particular bands releasing free downloads. Yeah I was feeling guilty when I was downloading one of my favorite band memebers who hasn't released an album for quite some time and so I figured if anyone has been feeling the same way as I. Thanks for your input and I just learned something new today. :P

Really good video on how downloading music really affects the artists and record labels.

I download everything, but then I wouldn't go and buy the stuff, so it doesn't matter to me.
