Do Mediums read live people or talk to dead ones?

Thinking about my Lily Dale reading, I think the medium could have been reading me, not talking to anyone who had passed on.

I do think the reading was worth it and I felt very warm and almost glowing afterward. I mean, it brought me a surprising amount of peace. Not just mental peace, but palpable, a deep feeling of well-being.

Even so I'm still not convinced she really was talking to the dead people she said she was.

What do you think? I sometimes 'see' the dead and pick up a surprising amount of info, but again, maybe I am just reading places, like, residual energy.

Well as a Medium it depends a lot on the energy level that spirit can give us. There are many times when I have the spirit of the person come in so strongly that I can clearly see them as I would a living person, In that state I can give details or be shown details that only seeing them would tell me. Scars, or birthmarks that are in places not seen when one is clothed for example or odd body shapes like feet. Things that I would have to be shown to know.

There are times when the energy comes from the one getting the reading so they are projecting what they want to hear, in this place it is up to the Medium to be able to put that energy aside and find something that again is deeply personal that does say "yes" I have that spirit with me.

What one's seek from me when they come to me is that peace feeling that feeling of acceptance that their LOVed on has gone over to the Light that they are content and safe. For some that come to me their LOVed one has not believed in an after life or maybe felt that Sin was real and they would not find that peace place. When I am able to connect to the spirit on that level and bring them in and give something that says they are over in a memory from their life they show me that gives the one seeing me for a reading great peace. At times its a fleeting memory not a life changing event.

Is it residue energy we feel at times maybe, it really comes down to that place of self trust in whom one is. "I see dead people" the line from the movie the "Sixth Sense" has always called to me as a child that boy was me. I see those that have passed and I am blessed to know its real.

I see people in spirit and people which are still living I'm still learning to communicate with spirits and when I see the living I do get I do get some intuitive impressions

I do get really detailed information sometimes and feel it is truly the person, not residual energy.

There was things about my reading at Lily Dale that made me think the medium was in touch with my parents and things that made me think not. I am happy with the reading anyway and grateful for it.

There's something specific I want an answer to and I haven't been able to get it, just general answers that anyone would say to me. This drives me a bit nuts but maybe I just have to accept it and move on.

At times we are given messages that we do not understand at the time. We have to remember that the Medium is taking in a vibration and is taking that information and translating it to words. In this stage at times the brain can kick in and want to fill in blanks so the information flows.

When I read this I say one word "sacrifice" like something was let go of that changed a path but that shed light on something else later on in life. It feels as if its around the heart and passions.

So you're saying the medium might be empathic. I have had one reading in my life. I gave her nothing but yes and no answers. I am also empathic and I definitely felt she was listening to someone when she passed on a message to me. She couldn't have gotten that message from me.

mediums can be psychic but a psychic can't be a medium and if you have to pay for a psychic or medium( especially mediums) it's a scam because a real medium is terrified of telling you they can see the deceased especially of someone or pet you knew or if someone you know is about to get hurt.plain psychics just feel energy moving like you know something Is there and emotions but you're not sure what it is and ( usually) don't have pre-cognitive of someone about to get hurt. The spirits themselves, come in many forms, can communicate in many ways and are sometimes picky about who they float up too.

I don't think the information in mediumship comes from reading the person. I am thinking about that sometimes the information that comes through from the other side is information that the person who is being read has no information about at that moment in time when the reading took place.
