No, I wasn't laughing at you. I wasn't laughing at Lomax either. Just the amount of numbers. They can be intense at times. Must be horrible if you don't want them.

Hi.. yes must be like a slap in the face of you don't resonate with them. Several times I've had enough myself. I've shouted up to the universe " ok... So I've had enough..I'm out of here..leave me alone, you're sending me mad...I'm walking away." Etc etc etc....only to discover they had other ideas and just when you don't want it...bam bam bam...it comes from everywhere..all at once just to remind you!! But then I realise.. because they let me know in no uncertain terms that I'm on the "journey"..and there's no going back. Once you're on it , you're on it!!

As I write this, it is 1:24.

It all started with 1, 2, 4, 8, 16,32, 64...........
back in 2nd grade. I started writing a number and then doubled it. I stopped doing that when the number took up 2 and 1/2 lines.

Then there was a period of time my wife would write down and say 20 different numbers. I would wake up and repeat them. Then I got to the point I would repeat them backwards. And finally, I would say the 11th number, then the 10th, then the 12, then the 9th, then the 13th, then the 8th and continued till I worked my way to both ends.

Crikey John. That's a lot of different number sequences! Bet you were exhausted with it all. Quite fascinating. My youngest son , as a toddler used to count absolutly everything even the peas on his plate. As a four year old his mental atrithmatic was so brilliant that he helped his older brothers with their maths homework when they got stuck ( well it was no good asking me, I was useless at maths lol)...

And then there was PI which still goes on to this day.

When I took Algebra in high school, I would change the numbers from base 10 to a different base and do the calculation that way. Our number system has 10 'digits'. The number system I loved the most had 60 'digits' and is called sexagesimal. I guessed with a name like that is the reason most people never heard about it.

When I was a kid, I used to study other alphabets then I got in to the various calendars, etc.

Hi John... Now you really ARE talking in forked toungue at me lol.... Me n maths don't get on!!!! My biggest achievement in life was learning how to "do " my own VAT accounts every 3 months. The former owner showed me. When she first showed me the " books" I nearly died and could only think "are you mad woman ...I can't do this".... But I did !!!!!!!!!!! ( Just wanted to thank you too for sending your "little people" for myself and my sister... I love them!!!

Hi John... Yes all the time on number plates. On phone . On accounts.. on clock... On oven timer ...on word game ...on bus shelters... On taxi ranks....on time I send messages on here...they EVRERYWHERE.... There's no escape!!!!!!
